Paint scanning the Model A, the quest for Andalucite Blue

The Model A was supposed to be a colour called Andalusite Blue when it left the Rouge in 1929, but that was long ago so who knows what colour it is now?

To that end I tool it along to have both the blur and black scanned so I can have a fighting chance to match the paint. Very helpful service using the Sikkens scanning equipment. The scan, a litre each of the black and an aerosol of the blue all took less than an hour. Well worth doing and now the formulas are on record
