Found this really interesting 1923 Hupmobile Speedster Pickup, not too sure of the provenance as little detail in the listing. I wonder what the history is 🙂
May very well have started life something like this?
The car has a “Goodrich Motor Testing Valve” exhaust cutout fitted. This product came from the Goodrich-Lenhart Manufacturing Company in Pennsylvania. Looking at information on the Vintage Advertising & Company Histories web site, the date looks about correct for the unit to have possibly been with this vehicle all it’s life (well let’s speculate for fun anyway :))
