1929 Model A Sport Coupe at Wheels Day 2016

Hi, welcome to the ramblings of an American car and truck enthusiast, who would someday like to make a living via the hobbies that I enjoy 🙂

I’ll be posting mainly about things American and automotive, hence the title!

In addition you will see mention of the Internet Radio & Podcast stuff around the classic car hobby that I also dabble in 🙂

I’ve also added in some pages about the new electric tech sweeping the motoring world

I also co-host The Classic Car Show on Americas Web Radio

You can find the shows here to listen and download

  1. Hello
I’m really happy I bumped into your page, while I was looking for flathead motor blogs.
    Great job!
I recently started checking stuff in my fathers garage and I found several rare parts like an old flathead motor, but I can’t recognize it. Any chance I could send you some photos and get some help on the matter? I live in Athens Greece and I don’t know anyone who could have the experience to do that..
    Kindest regards
    Nicolas

  2. Hi – this is Bill Whitmore. I am writing on behalf of the Pomona Valley Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA). Our chapter is hosting the national MAFCA Awards Banquet and Officer Installation during the first week of December 2019 in Claremont California. We anticipate approximately 150 people will attend from throughout the United States and Canada. Many of our members modify their Model A for high performance.

I have been asked to contact potential donors of items for the goody bags or items for the banquet raffle. Your support is very much appreciated and will be acknowledged in the banquet program.

Items for the goody bags or items for the banquet raffle may be mailed to:

  3. Hello, this is David Steele from the American Hot Rod Foundation. I want to thank you for your great blog site and for placing links to our website and podcast episodes. Very very nice of you and it is much appreciated. I would only ask that you correct “Federation” to “Foundation”. Not a big deal at all but we are actually quite proud to be a not-for-profit Foundation. We also don’t want to confuse people.

Thanks again for the nice work you’re doing here. I’ve enjoyed surfing around on here. Keep up the good work!

    Best,

    David
