The end of the road :-)

We spent quite a lot of time in St Louis this morning particularly at the riverfront and the arch. Afterwards we set off on Route 66 at the Chain of Rocks bridge from both the Missouri and Illinois ends, we also visited the famous Ted Drewe frozen custard stand. We alternated between Route 66 and the Interstate and ended up in Naperville at around 9:30pm, tired but happy. We will calculate how many miles we have covered over the past two weeks, a rough estimate at this point is around 2,800 !!! Going to have a rest for the next few days 🙂

Now you go through St. Louie

Made our way up from Memphis to St Louis today, really nice weather all the way along with some very odd place names 🙂
We saw a mileage sign post when we stopped for lunch which brought home how far we have actually travelled !!
Our Hotel in St Louis is near the Ballpark, Riverfront and the Arch, we had a nice meal down on the Riverfront.
Last leg into Chicago tomorrow…

We had another really great day today !

Our travels today covered Graceland, Sun Studios and the Lorraine Motel amongst others.

The weather was very good once again, we will go out for a meal and listen to some music in Beale Street, which is already busy and full of Harleys as it is “bike night”

Off to St Louis tomorrow.
