A Friend Catches Up…

Brilliant post reblogged from Mustang Maniac

Mustang Maniac

We feel it’s time to reveal what the special post was going to be all about that we talked about when Adam came back from his SEMA trip this year. Of course it was always going to be car related as you would expect. Last year Adam made arrangements to meet up with his friend Cleo Shelby. This year he has gone one better…

While out in Las Vegas Adam made the phone calls and arranged to meet up with his friend Cleo, this time he introduced his wife Lynn to Cleo who hit it off straight away.

The usual catch up chats were had and as time passed a rare opportunity was offered to Adam & Lynn; lunch at Cleo’s house the next day in Las Vegas! Obviously that is an offer you just can’t refuse. For privacy issues we delayed this post and made sure all was OK…

The Jobsworth

Reblog From Mustang Maniac

Mustang Maniac

We have been asked about a car we had with us at a recent car show, but we will get to that a little later along with a story about a “Jobsworth”, in other words, a somebody who had nothing better to do with their time other than enforce a petty rule. But we start again this week with the Park & Ride car on the post.

Park & Pic:

Derek has owned the car for a while now and has been gradually doing little jobs here and there on her. But after a look at the quality of work we do here, the car has been booked in with us to complete an ever extending list of upgrades and bit of under hood bling.

The Grinch:

This car is a real like it or loath it restoration or “Restomod” that took six years to complete by our very own…

NSRA Show 2017

From Mustang Manic’s Blog

Mustang Maniac

Last weekend Mustang Maniac and friends headed out to the National Street Rod Association show in Bedfordshire which is always a good day out and a popular show. The sun was out and so was the vast array of cars that turned up. So without much more waffling from us, here are some of the pics from the show:

Adam just can’t seem to get away from “that” John Wick by the car pose!

Yogi was chillin’ and says his new foot attire matches his car!

WebShop:

We have had a first sample or trial of some new ’64 – ’66 tail light lenses. These are clear and look best on the LED Euro boards we stock. Now we can imagine that you either love these or hate them. So thanks to Lance who kindly took them of our hands to try them in his ’65.

Let us know your…

Take to the Floor (From Mustang Maniac)

This week has been busy for the office with the phone ringing constantly, unfortunately most of the esquires again are around our stock levels. For the people who already know how Mustang Maniac Webshop works as an online part supplier, we can only apologise to bring this up again. We can only keep reiterating that […]

Restocking Of New & Old Items

Mustang Maniac

A very busy week with work resumed on lots of projects and a little something that we don’t normally do. We have some very important news regarding our WebShop, lots more new stock with bling for an EcoBoost Mustang requested by popular demand. But we start with the Park & Pic of our first Non Mustang!

Park & Pic

This is particular car is owned by a very good customer of ours who also owns a Mustang fastback that we look after for him on a regular basis. As a favour we will service other American Classics cars on the condition that there is no rush for us to complete the work, and you are a good customer. It probably doesn’t need to be said that we have to order the parts in for that particular car. This is a great looking 1963 Corvette Sting Ray sitting outside our…

Car Show Let Down

One Man And His Mustang

A very unusual situation happened to me regarding a car show where I was disappointed at the event. This was the first car show of the year which was held fairly local to me at only half hour drive away. I had been to a previous event at the same venue before and I was little disappointed back then. The event(s) were held at Stonham Barns in Suffolk. The first show that I attended was good for attendance with plenty of cars to look at with a couple of good stalls, but the winning trophies seemed to go to people who were known to the judges, I dare to say. I don’t expect trophies at the events I attend, the whole point of me attending is that I like to share my Mustang passion with other car enthusiasts, it certainly wasn’t sour grapes for not winning anything as I didn’t enter ayway. In…
