Old Ford Rally 2019 – British Motor Museum

This years Old Ford Show at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon was very well attended by cars up to 1995. The admission ticket gave access to the show and full entry to the excellent museum. The showground surrounds the Museum and the Collections Building with it’s mainly Jaguar and reserve car content

This is a predominately UK Ford based show but the American based turn out was of a good quality with a stunning 1904 Ford Model C a highlight.

The swap meet was of a pretty good quality if mostly angled towards the newer cars, John Cochran and Brian Bignell. The MAFCGB had a good variety of Model As represented.

The Nu Minis: LA Style Mini Trucks Are Back! – Pomona Swap Meet (via Daniel Strohl)

When it comes to automotive history, every decade adds it’s own chapter to the story. The Nu Minis (@NuMinis_SoCal) feature “LA style” mid 80s to early 90s import mini trucks (think Nissan 720s, Mazda B Series trucks, and Toyota SR5s). The Nu Minis only have one chapter, but they’ve got sixteen active members bringing some serious 80s nostalgia wherever they go!

Wiper Motor Success!

I’ve managed to purchase a NOS vacuum wiper motor via the Swap Meet section of the Ford Barn which is great news.

Only slight drawback is that the motor is in Tennessee USA, and would have cost $114 to ship!!

Good thing is that my Sister in Law visits Tallahassee Florida regularly, and can bring it back in September, shipping $20 🙂
