Celebrating the 60th anniversary, Surrey Mustang Owners Club hosted a festival of Ford Mustang and other American cars at Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, on Saturday 20th April 2024.

This event was not just for Ford Mustangs. Owners of all American cars and members of American car clubs from all over the country were welcome to display their car.

From the Brooklands Website

The Ford Mustang is a series of American automobiles manufactured by Ford. In continuous production since 1964, the Mustang is currently the longest-produced Ford car nameplate. Currently in its seventh generation, it is the fifth-best selling Ford car nameplate. The namesake of the “pony car” automobile segment, the Mustang was developed as a highly styled line of sports coupes and convertibles derived from existing model lines, initially distinguished by “long hood, short deck” proportions. Ford have produced over 9m Mustangs.

As you might imagine Mustangs of all types and ages were on show, I’ve tried to separate them into generations (experts please forgive me :))

1st Generation

2nd Generation

5th Generation

Nice day all around, good weather, not too crowded and plenty to look at.
