Shaun has been a member of the club for nearly 12 years and owns a Jensen Interceptor, he was the area representative for Oxfordshire and has since become club chairman.

The club was founded in 1971, and currently has around 1500 members with around 900 in the UK the rest spread around the world.

Today’s guest is Lou Lusardi who is the  Press Officer for the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Club. Lou is also heavily involved in the world of cycling and is the founder of the “Dragon Ride” one of the biggest cycling events in the British Isles. Lou takes us through the history of the Tiger, the club and many interesting anecdotes. A very entertaining interview.

Interview with Keith Clements of the Jowett Car Club for Americas Web Radio

My interview with Keith Clements, who is the current Competition Secretary, Webmaster and former Chairman of The Jowett Car Club can be found Here. It’s a great listen!


Keith has owned his Jowett Jupiter since 1969 and has competed in 27 countries with the vehicle over the years.

Keith has also made major trips in Jowetts across the USA, Artic Circle, and the east and west coasts of Australia and Tasmania.

In addition he has toured the North and South of Islands of New Zealand again in a Jowett.

Keith also helps to organise the fleet of Jowetts that act as the taxi fleet for the Goodwood Revival.

On the club side of things Keith has been a major part of the team that has been a three times best stand winner at the Practical Classics Restoration Show.

In 2012 Keith was voted Classics and Sports Car Club Personality of the Year

The club won the Club of the Year in 2013

Keeping things in the family Keith’s daughter won the Classic Car of the Year in her own self restored Jowett Jupiter in 2010.

My latest guest is Austen Metcalf ,Master Fabricator and owner of Ozcraft Formula 1 Engineering and Fabrication. Austen spent 30 years at McLaren covering a number of roles in both fabrication and support of the various racing efforts. Since starting Ozcraft Austen has both restored and built a number of premier, show and race winning vehicles. These include a GT40 replica true to the original blue prints and full restorations of ex – Jim Clark & John Surtees historic F1 cars.

Austen has also developed a number of precision engineered product lines for both two and four wheels amongst his diverse portfolio which is too large to list here. You can find out a lot more about Ozcraft here on the website

We talk F1 and the various drivers Austen has worked with, along with his own racing exploits along with the growth of Ozcraft as a business to name but a few highlights!
